DJI’s Digital FPV system is now available from DJI with great new features and specs to bring to the drone racing world. The new products include the DJI FPV Goggles, DJI FPV Air Unit, and DJI Remote Control. The launch comes after rumors sprout over DJI products in FCC filings found by DroneDJ.

The most impressive of the lot, the DJI Air Unit boasting 1080p 60fps aerial recording, 8 channels for 8 drones, easy connection to the DJI Remote Controller and a dual antenna setup with 28ms of latency.

The camera has a 150-degree viewing mode with three filming modes, standard keeps the picture at its original detail and improves quality of daytime filming, racing ups the saturation making obstacles stand out more, LED increases the saturation of LED lights and lowers the noise in low light images, perfect for night racing.

The DJI FPV Goggles allow for 720p 120fps live view with a transmission distance of up to 4km thanks to the unique quad omnidirectional antenna setup. The DJI FPV Goggles allow for easy channel switching with its dedicated channel switch buttons found on the side of the headset.

The DJI Remote Control takes the already great DJI controller and adapts it for the racing world with a closed-loop system, making parameters for all the products to be set easily and with little errors. The controller keeps the latency low with 7ms and a control distance of 4km.

You can buy the DJI’s Digital FPV System Experience Combo for $819 (AUD$1299) from the DJI store.
