100M views on Unsplash – The end of dronenr (for now)

I started dronenr a few years ago with an interest in drones and the enjoyment of taking photos. During this time I started uploading my photos to Unsplash ( a stock photo website), within a few days of putting my photos on Unsplash, they blew up getting hundreds of thousands of views every day, I was excited!

At first, I was excited and blown away by the amount of activity on my photos, with one of them being awarded “25 Most Downloaded Photos of 2018 | Spring.” Over time I started to break away from the reason I started uploading the photos and only cared about the numbers my photos would bring in. So much so I stopped taking new photos and would just re-edit my old photos to get even more views.

All of this has amounted to today, I’ve reached 100 million views which is so much more than I could have ever hoped for when I uploaded my first photo at the beginning of 2018. That being said, I will be taking a break from dronenr indefinitely to go back to the reason I started taking photos, enjoyment and fun. Thanks to everyone that has been here along the way supporting my photos. For now, goodbye.
