For the past few months rumours and leaks of DJI’s upcoming product, DJI Mavic Mini have surfaced online. Everything from the price of the drone to the rumored specs. Today we take a look at a possible launch date for the DJI Mavic Mini.
From what we can tell it is likely the DJI Mavic Mini will be released on October 30th. Just in time for the festive season!
Why do we think this is the date? Firstly, DJI is holding its ‘Fly as you are’ event on the 30th of October, likely pointing to the new drone being released.
I think DJI would be stupid not to launch a new drone before the holiday season, especially a drone such as the DJI Mavic Mini which looks to be the perfect drone for everyone and the perfect Christmas gift.
We have also noticed a recent tweet from OsitaLV sharing the date of the launch, October 30th, and the name of the event “Fly as you are.” An image of what looks to be a production model of the Mavic Mini that we first saw on the FCC’s bench a few months back.
The DJI Mavic Mini looks to be a mix between DJI’s Mavic Air and Spark drones, combining the best from both. The Mavic Mini is going to closer resemble the Mavic Pro line and come equipped with a 4k camera.
We will definitely be getting our hands on the new drone once it has been released! It looks to be a great drone that will work in most situations thanks to its quality and size.
