DJI’s older products used several fun fruit and animal names as codenames for use internally and in its apps. From litchi, its most famous name, to longan, orange, and tomato (yes, it’s a fruit).
DJI used fruit and animal names as its product codenames from the Phantom 3 series to the Phantom 4 line, with the Mavic Pro bucking the trend and going with a more basic wm220 codename.
