The upcoming DJI Matrice 3D has once again been leaked, this time by a DJI drone peeping into the DJI office from 50 metres above the ground. We have seen a rise in DJI drones being used to leak upcoming DJI drones over the last few months.

DJI Matrice 3D in the DJI office

The footage appears to be a screen recording from a DJI Mini series drone, given away by the maximum 4x zoom on the display. The Mini drone has flown up ~50 metres from the ground and is peering into the DJI offices.

We imagine the drone pilot was flying to each floor and checking for anything of interest, eventually getting lucky the unreleased DJI Matrice 3D drone sitting on a box next to an Inspire 3. The unreleased drone is sitting by itself without a dock, potentially being used to test out a new firmware version.

Wonder how many other unreleased products are hiding in plain sight. πŸ˜‰

DJI Matrice 3D leaks and features

DJI Matrice 3D appears to be a dock version of the DJI Mavic 3 Thermal, featuring a very similar looking payload and sensor layout. We’ve also been able to see a new battery for the Matrice 3D as well as a payload bay and mounting screws, suggesting a 4G dongle and additional payloads can be mounted to the drone. It also features a built-in RTK module.
