DJI China has teased a new enterprise product on its website, which looks to be the DJI Dock 2 that has seen a number of leaks over the last few months.

UPDATE: DJI has announced DJI Dock 2 and Matrice 3D, Matrice 3DT in China

The teaser page is only available through the Chinese version of the DJI website, and titles the event as “轻担重任“, translated into English by @quadro_news as “A light burden to carry.

The announcement for the DJI Dock 2 is set to take place on November 8th at 9PM Bejing time, just two days away. With this China-only release, we expect to see the dock release worldwide within the next six months.

A light burden to carry

Looking at the teaser image, we can see its a dock rather than a drone. The unreleased dock features two status lights on the sides and what looks to be a rain sensor on the top right. Aside from that we can see it has a similar box shape to the DJI Dock. From this we can’t see any other details of the dock.

DJI Dock 2: what to expect

The DJI Dock appears to be the docking station for DJI’s unreleased DJI Matrice 3D drone, a drone designed to be used with a dock that shares the same payload as the Mavic 3 Thermal. The Matrice 3D has a number of differences including a built-in RTK module, payload mounting point, a dedicated spot for a 4G dongle, a new and larger battery.
