Yesterday we shared a story on drone maker, Parrot in relation to leaving the consumer drone market. This was indeed incorrect. The original information was shared through a tweet made by one of Wirecutter’s staff.
In a message given to DroneDJ Parrot explains that it is not leaving the drone market and is just focusing on the ANAFI line of drones for the foreseeable future. Parrot still plans on releasing consumer drones once they have finished perfecting the ANAFI series.
Parrot is not exiting the consumer drone business. Please correct your story as soon as possible. Older product lines including mini drones, have been retired in favor of the next-generation ANAFI platform. The ANAFI series consists of 5 drone models ranging from standard vision cameras to dual thermal and standard vision cameras with some models have enhanced range and batteries.
