In the latest round of leaks, DJI Pocket 3’s release date and previously leaked specs have now been confirmed thanks to an early look at DJI’s marketing materials for the upcoming handheld camera.
DJI Pocket 3 release date
The first exciting part of the leak is the release date, which we haven’t heard anything about until now. Pocket 3 is set to release on October 25 at 9am EDT time, a release time DJI have often used in the past. We also know the marketing slogan for the Pocket 3 thanks to the same graphic, ‘For Moving Moments.’
DJI Pocket 3 specs confirmed
The second of the two interesting marketing graphics that leaked, displays the main features and selling points of the DJI Pocket 3, which are:
- 1-inch CMOS & 4K/120fps
- 2″ rotatable screen & horizontal-vertical shooting
- 3-axis gimbal mechanical stabilisation
- ActiveTrack 6.0
- Full-pixel fast focusing
- D-Log M & 10-bit
- Stereo recording
- Pocket sized
Based on the above list of specs, DJI Pocket 3 looks to be a substantial upgrade over the Pocket 2 and will hopefully be worth the three year wait.
Other Pocket 3 leaks
Previously, we saw the DJI Pocket 3 show up in the DJI Mimo app alongside the Osmo Mobile 7. We also saw a number of images of the camera being field tested as well product shots of the new rotating touch screen.
