We’ve put together a DJI 2024 release calendar with what we think will be released this year. From the usual drones and gimbals to the more unexpected.

Let’s dive into it.

Note: This post is purely speculation where leaks aren’t present. This in no way confirms the release or existence of any of the unreleased products.

Released

DJI Mic 2

Confirmed release: 17th January, 2024

The first release of the year for DJI will be its DJI Mic 2, an update version of its Mic with an improved feature set. The Mic 2 transmitter was release alongside the Pocket 3, with this release being for the charging case and transmitter to make up the full standalone Mic 2 package.

DJI Modify

Confirmed release: 18th January, 2024

DJI has just released its first intelligent model editing software, DJI Modify. Modify features a streamlined and intuitive interface that makes it easy to complete model operations.

Unreleased

DJI Osmo Mobile 7

The Osmo Mobile 7 is something we saw first appear in the Mimo app last year, but it is yet to release. Not much is known about the OM7 other than that it is an update to the Osmo Mobile line. More information can be found here, with everything we have uncovered so far.

DJI RS 4 & RS 4 Pro

Both the DJI RS 4 and RS 4 Pro have shown up at the FCC in early March. Suggesting a release date could be somewhere in Q2 of 2024. We don’t know much about the new gimbals at this point.

DJI Mini 4

If DJI is to release another non-pro model of its Mini drones, the Mini 4 is expected to come in Q2 of 2024. This is based on previous timelines and would fit in well for a cheaper and powerful mini drone.

DJI Avinox

UPDATE: DJI Avinox is DJI’s first electric bike powertrain, releasing with Amflow’s e-MTB.

A product we found reference to last year when DJI filed a trademark for Avinox. From the listing we could really tell much, but we got some idea pointing to Avinox potentially being a new drone line coming, a new FPV air unit, or a component of DJI’s automotive branch.

DJI Romo

Something a little different from DJI, is a trademark it recently filed for DJI Romo. The trademark filed points to Romo being a robot vacuum, which would be a first for the company. No other information has been found yet. is DJI making a robot vacuum? We’ll find out.
